Here's my latest Mouse Controlled scene. A scripted Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle.

FACTS

The M82 is used as a support gun mostly and can shoot through light armour, such as a car door or a thick wooden shelter. Almost everything on this gun is used to catch up the recoil as the 50. cal BMG round was commonly used in WWII. People shot down Aircrafts with it so there's alot of bang in one.

The semi-automatic system wasn't made for making the user take down several targets fast. It was made to catch up the recoil. The barrel has a similar system that exist in many tanks: that the barrel is thrown backwards when the gun is fired. A thing that many people consider is a muzzle flash decreaser is another anti recoil sytem. It uses the high preassure in the barrel and make it act like a jet engine and pushes the rifle in the direction you're shooting at. And the recoil pad can often come with a spring to ease the recoil up.

You DO NOT stand up and shoot with this gun. You lie down, or stand on your knees if you're trained with that.
