Hi!

This is a realistic and working piano in a little concert hall. The hammer and the pedal work with the usual grand piano mechanism, and there is still a controllable chair for fanatics :) . If you interested in it1s mechanism just delet the cover (it won't collapse).

When you push the play button you have to wait until the piano comes up. Then you only have to push "r" to reveal the mechanism an the inner of the instrument. Further instructions can be found on the piano.

Sometimes the hammer stuck in the string, because it is too fast to be well coordinated by algodoo at 100Hz. For that reason I recommend to set frequency to minimum 200Hz (algodoo calculates 2 times accurate). You can do this with my phunlet (http://www.algodoo.com/algobox/details/35151), or just bring down the consol with "0" then type "sim.frequency=200" in it.
IMPORTANT! >>> This setting will be saved and used until you change it back. So if you dont change back to 100Hz, all of your scenes will run at 200Hz. <<<

The piano was edited with the help of two vector-graphical picture from wikipedia:
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Fortepian_-_mechanizm_angielski.svg

The scene is an updated version of my earlier grand piano made in Phun:

A glorious scene I remember playing with years ago (in fact, PerpetualInventions was my old account before I forgot its password). Years later and after delving into piano actions, I have realized here that there is a mistake with the jack pushing on the repetition lever; it is supposed to go through it and hit the hammer knuckle (the circle that is currently being pushed by the repetition lever, whereby it is technically only supposed to do that after the key is released and the jack stops pressing on an inner felt).

I still commend you for making this highlight of my childhood.
