Scene tag

Just something I've created by spawning hinges at collision. Description in scene. Yay I like that spawning method :lol: Mayby I put there some herbivores or something:huh: Feel free to use it.

Since you say you don't know what to do:
The little circles in the boxes under the big red box (the green, the red, the color changing and the blue) are just initiators. When you press play the yellow circle that collide with the black box (that are 2 circles in real) creates 200 green circles that fit in the red area. They are kinda prepared so the initiators can give them their code and this code should work well in the green circles. Now if you drag the "infected" balls and collide with them with the green circles (that appear after sim start) the green circles'es code and color will change into the code and color of the infected ones. On collision they also are connecting to each other by creating a invisible hinge. Infected circles don't connect to other infected, only to green - so if you drag the "alge" (it looks like an alge! i'll edit the scene to show you a big alge) through the green circles field it'll grow. If colideing with dark boxes it'll stick to them. Just play around with the scene.
I just thought it can be useful for someone so I added it on algobox.

I don't know why it doesn't work on algodoo, but you can download Phun (it's free;) ). I use Phun :rolleyes:

Please read the advices in the boxes - everything is explained there.

You just have to usethe drag tool. If you want to spawn a new 200 green balls simply drag the blue circle into the "Reset" box.

If it doesn't work try typing id=200 ; x = 0 ; y = 0 and colori = [1.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0] in the console (F11). I don't know what I can explain more. If anything isn't clear for you just ask.

I just added a very simple but usefull function:
A destroy key for the spawned circles (works also after color change or anything else). It's "D". To hide the hints press "H":)

That are only algea guys...

Don't work on Algodoo... but it sounds like it's good, so i give 7,5/10
hmm you need a better UI (User Interface) And and better explaination what to do:s but if ive understood right its something like and game of evolution to colors.. but i dont know how to use..
You can play with it just like you can play with phun but it wasn't meant as a game. Explanations are at every step ("sorry for bad english":lol: ). You don't HAVE TO do anything, like making the colors evolve or so. I just wanted to show you what I've done.
Oh and another code that you can type in the console if it isn't going :
going = true
The numbers in the black boxes tell you what you should read first :)
Please tell me if the scene is working well. Are there smoothly color changing parts? Does the circles connect ? It's nothing special but you can try it out. Mayby it inspire you?

Please rate and comment (also low) but please do something. I see that everyday there are new views and downloads but no opinions.

unfortunately people dont understand what a simulation is
so it is hard to get good ratings

from experience i know that scenes that are pretty and about things that people understand and are 'playable' are well rated (such as my KTM 990)
on the other hand simulations like this dont get amazing ratings

i will give you a 10 (then again i like tens on my KTM as well):lol:

for me you can't make the green alge turn different colors, except when they hit a black rock but they won't stick forever. the only time when the creepy circles can change the color of the normal circles is after they touch the "stupid" one please help/respond i really want this scene to work
Well I don't know what's wrong. If you're using algodoo try with phun, if it's phun then idk. Drag the balls under \/ the red area from their boxes. If they hit the green ones then they should turn into algea. Can't help you more :(
