Scene tag

Lara wanted her own signature chopper and wasn't satisfied
with the off the shelf engine options available from the US.
The firm of GENT inc. was employed to build an engine using
huge cylinders from a WW1 fighter plane that Lara liked the
looks of. In order to manage the massive power pulses special
gears were made utilizing the ground breaking technology
developed by Conundrummer and equipment by Kilinich.
Gent warned Lara that the chain drive would be problomatic
but she insisted on the old school look of the chain!

Your mission is to test the new bike and learn how to get the max
performance and speed from it without wadding up the chain.

Controlls:
S: to start engine hold for a couple of seconds
C: clutch, toggled, hold for a second or 2 when first taking off
to slip the clutch and avoid wadding up the chain
Up arrow= up shift
Down arrow= down shift hold till the transmission shifts
Four speeds, 1st neutral 2nd 3rd and 4th she starts out in neutral
neutral is a bit tricky to find between 1st and second just like
a real bike. There is a color coded gear indicator in the center of
the front chain sprocket: 1st=Red N=Black 2nd=Purple 3rd= LT Blue
and 4th is DRK Blue.
I know the scene is laggy but its worth spending a little time on, there
are some interesting bumps and a hill climb challenge at the end!
Have fun with her and please rate & comment
Update: added sheepborg's goodyear logo to the rear tire and cleaned up
some booboos

Best scene in ages.
Great boobs:lol:
But I just can't get it too make some speed.
Awesome.......
Ye too bad I can't make it go any faster than 25km/h. Else it would have really rocked! I love the whole idea of switching gears with the foot pedal just like a real motor does. I also like the way the engine looks in every stroke, like the purple color in the compression stroke and the red color when the fuel ignites. Great job_o_
Hi vytas and all, thanks for the kind words:) it would be realy cool to be able to make an engine of this type run any faster than about 25rads reliably but I cant seem to after a stupid amount of developement and testing time)|(
This build is more about actualy making a realistic looking and educational PHUN engine with enough power to move itself though a realistic drive train with
real world gear ratios:rolleyes:
If you properly scale the thing and extrapolate the data to say 2500rpm, nice
cruise speed,it would be 46MPH and 5 grand would be over 90
Its easy enough to delete all my laggy junk and just put a motor on the rear wheel
if you want:lol:
Leave it the way it is:)
Found and repaired a problem with the intake valve guide on the front cylinder, scene updated let me know if you find any other problems or have any suggestions :bonk:

I dont know how I missed this when it was 1st posted. It is mechanical art! The engine is great but the trans/clutch is the best part to me....but Lara aint too bad either!

10/10:tup:
Thanks Wild Bill, the transmision and shift mechanism was the toughest part of the whole build, I spent a ton of time on it)|( and I'm still not 100% satisfied with it.
I had a similar unit almost finished with the Phun polygon gears before I figured
out it wouldnt even try to work, overlaped polygon gears are a collision MESS!!!!
What I'm particularly proud of is that Lara is just sitting on the bike, her hand collides
with the handlebar and her foot with the footpeg and shift lever, her foot is what shifts the tranny, the only motor in the bike is the starter, the clutch is just a brake.
I'm so happy people like the bike I realy put a lot of time in it:coolgrin:
I plan to keep tweaking and improving so stay tuned:rolleyes:

i'm with phil, those are great boobs. but that is not the only reason i like it, it's amazing how little hinge motors are used. i give it a 10/10:y
Hi canadian joe and all, I mostly built Lara to show off the bike but she can be a bit distracting
;)
Thanks everyone for the nice comments and ratings makes all the time spent well worth it for me:love:

ummmm, you realize that i was being sarcastic, maybe that would be easier to tell if i added a rolling eyes emoticon like this one:rolleyes: . the only problem is that this one is smiling
I may have used the wrong smilly face sorry, I thought it was a cool "wink" I'm truely glad you like it!!!!!
I worked real hard to keep it as mechanical as possible:cool:

for me, in phun, the valves are all screwy. they always pop out and such

i dont like to put riders A) because i suck at drawing people and B) they get in the way of the cool bike i just made  LOL
Hi sheepborg and all, the valves are tricky to make work right but they look cool.
This is my first real attempt at making a decent looking vehicle and its tough to
make much of anything that looks realistic and actualy works! I spent a whole day
on Lara and that doesnt count the gun and other decorations
Awesome, but something lags on my computer. also, changes automatically to neutral.
(neutral is a bit tricky to find between 1st and second just like
a real bike. that may be what I mean and if it is that, it doesn't matter)
Hi Mr. crash, its a laggy scene there is close to 15000 collision tests happening,
be sure you hold up or down long enough for it to completely shift, there is quite
a bit going on just in the shift mechanism select the "oil tank" and move it to the
back to see the shifter, thanks for the comment:)
If it still gives problems reload the scene, that usualy fixes it:rolleyes:
PS please rate:cool:

hmmm... I don't know what is collision test:bonk: I know that you can see it in the sim info.:*)
Mr. crash, I think, not sure about this, that any time objects touch each other the program has to decide whether they collide or not and if so then what? so lots of collisions = LAG
WOW LC is so hot cool. Love the pony tail and boobs LOL
Thanks, why only an 8?
It's great! The boobs movement is fluid and realistic, body proportions are amazing, also the skin color is good!
Wait... Hey, there is also a motorcycle there...  10/10
Thanks a lot
