I'm sure there are people with better ideas for levels than me so this scene is to give you the basics to make your own level.
How to make a Level:
Rotate and resize the pieces to make a track. Change their collision groups according to which group of vehicles you want to move down them. I recommend giving the track a distict colour (e.g. red) so that it's easier to accurately join each track piece.
IMPORTANT GAME PRINCIPALS:
-There needs to be a red on the same track as the one you control going slightly slower. This keeps you moving so you can't stop in one place.
-Every blue needs an escort, this follows the blue at the faster speed on the same track so you can't just wait in one place and eat all the blues
-Try to avoid the circle pieces, use rectangle blocks instead. The circle pieces slow the cars down as they are slightly thicker in the middle (my fault).
The result is:
-There are 6 tracks, 5 for normal cars and one for you
-The red on your track has to be slightly slower (the speeds are preset in the scene) or else it will catch you up
-The 6 tracks need to split up and join a lot otherwise the user gets bored |
