I was experimenting with attraction and gravity on lights, when i found that you could make a laser "fold" over itself repeatedly to have a way to sort of "store" the light to not have it take up too much space and get laggy, or just get in the way:D

and this would be useful why? if you don't want the laser to go too far you either build a wall with 1.0 refraction, or set the fade distance shorter...
