What is actualyl going on is:
With each "pin", there is an equal chance of the ball going either left or right. The triangle involved here can be seen as a Pascall Triangle, or either row representing combinations.
It's actually pretty hard to explain.

Its cool! but how did u get the pins do be exactly in the right position?
Its pretty much impossible endre, all down to probabilities. So you could i guess... if you run it millions of times. Heres a description of what this is representing

A few balls went too far towards the end:o
It lags because there are just so many balls to reposition.
