This is orginal probe made by Kilinich, which I 've improved a little...

WARNING! It is NOT a ready Phunlet, it comes with test setup and debug screens!

Main difference is increased maximum RPM - Unfortunatley It cannot go over 1500RPM (which is much better than it was in orginal one, about 160RPM).

can it do 1499 RPMs?

sry, I know, stupid question...
What's wrong with K-Probe2 ? It capable of detect 1500 rpm too.
After reaching about 160-170RPM it stops responding even when (almost) perfectly centered. This one has bigger tolerance so it doesn't lock when reaching higher speeds.
Whoops! Something got wrong with this scene after saving! Now I cannot go past about 950RPM...

EDIT: Found a weird problem - It starts to work again after reducing sim speed... Like Phun is omitting frames to achieve grater performance?

EDIT2: Reducing sim speed to 0,10% made me able to get correct readings at 2900RPM... WTF?

How it to use? For what it is necessary? :s
no. AFAIK, thyme is computed at 60 hz. slower sim speed means more hertz/time
@ mik7649

How to use - attach green probe to anything you want to measure speed, rotation, etc...

For what it is necessary? - You cannot take directly values from objects, like their speed etc - If you want to make, for example... Spedometer, or something dependent on position of one of the objects - You have to use "tricks" and calculate their speed etc... This probe made by Killnich does everything for us and gives us simple variables we can use witout any problem.

But if you don't know what "variable" is - you probably don't need this probe:)

RA2lover - I thought that scripts are executed at the same speed as simulation - that's funny that scripts have their own clock independent from sim clock...
Mibars, thanks, i understood!
