I was curious about the name "Hottabych bird" and so I searched on Google, and this is what I found: "The term "Hottabych bird" is likely a misunderstanding or a playful alteration of the name Hottabych, the main character in the Soviet children's fantasy novel The Star Key by Lazar Lagin. There is no actual bird species known by that name. The character Hottabych is a djinn, not a bird. The association with a bird might stem from the fact that he can fly and perform magical feats, which could be associated with birds."

Nice work on the scene! The bird works exactly how that type of science demonstration bird works in real life. The toy bird is called either a "drinking bird" or a "dipping" bird.:tup:
