Friendly suggestion:

Enhance the scene so that the user can enter their own text and then the 5-bar linkage will write the text on a virtual sheet of paper. That would be even more awesome!

I had considered that, but chose not to do it, since it would be a fair amount of work. Here's what I think would need to be done to make that happen:
1. Create a path for each letter.
2. Read keyboard input.
3. Connect each new letter to the previous letter.

I don't know how to automatically get the path for each letter, nor how to connect letters so it looks like handwriting.

Sounds like a challenge!
