Aims to demonstrate the workings of a potentiometer (voltage divider).

In the initial state R1 is very small compared to R2 since the tap of the poti (black wire) is on the far left. This means that only a small voltage drops at R1 and the remainder drops over R2 and the wheel (lamp) so it can spin (glow).
You can also take the perspective of the electrons: R2 is a big obstacle, so many electrons take the easier path through the tap.

Now carefully (!!) drag the black tap towards the right, while the simulation is still running.
--> Now R1 is big compared to R2. We get a huge voltage drop over R1 and the remainder is not enough to reliably turn the wheel.
Yet again you can take the perspective of the electrons: R2 is close to zero. The electrons will take the easiest path and therefore dont go through the tap and the wheel.

Needs work. Most people will not understand "Now carefully (!!) drag the black tap towards the right", since there is no indication of what to drag. I suggest modifying your scene so that the "A" and "D" keys move the tap left and right. Another option may be on screen arrows that the user clicks. A motorized parallel linkage with the "A" and "D" keys assigned to a hinge motor would be one way to do it without scripting.

I agree with s_noonan. In addition, your gas model of a potentiometer circuit is a good start, but in my opinion is lacking some important and necessary component labels and descriptions that would make it more "finished" and understandable, especially for many viewers who haven't the slightest idea of what this scene is about.
I know the scene needs some work regarding ease of use and understanding. I did´nt just had the time to do it, but wanted to save my work online.
@Xray: Regarding viewers who don´t have any clue what this about, it would be wise to look for my previous scenes with this model, hence this scene is called "part 3"
