The OG Tacoma Narrows bridge, nicknamed “Galloping Gertie” due to it bouncing commonly, This showed on November 7th, 1940 during a windstorm when Galloping Gertie started swaying and twisting like never seen before, it practically shook itself apart. The only victim was a dog named Tubby, stuck in a car. Enjoy! |
