if you select all of the boxes for the parachute go to the script menu then go airfrictionmult then change it to a higher number it will slow the man down more because it will create more air friction

Yeah, I agree with what "jorgon22" said. And thank-you "simey j dude" I've made millians of homemade parashoots, but I couldn't figer out how to make the person fall at normal speed... but that dosn't fix the problem with moving sideways... the gravity won't be on my side, making the heavy box opsolete, but "simey j dude" that still helps me, so if anyone has an idea for it to still be able to move side-to-side better, reply. If someone could do that I would be soHappy, and wouldthank/prase them. Andgood job for the most part, but askme next time to make you a parashoot, I'm not anerd and amgood at making parashoots. ~Zach123198~

@Zach if you have a box around the parachute that has a negative air friction that is deleted when the parachute opens then you can get it to move almost the same speed as the normal object would.

In 1.8.0 it lags to much works better in 1.7.1 or whatever was just before that
