you could do the same thing without textures... it would be very laggy and not quite look like the real thing, but it is possible. I'm looking forward to see what your doing with this!

You should make some sailboats that are just barley moving
a Yachts or 2 and a cruise ship

then an island with trees and stuff

this is not even close to photorealism, (compare a realistic drawing with a still photo,)

Photorealism usually doesnt move,
