I am making a rope script that will let an object swing on another object, the problem here is that the hinges cant find the geometry that created it. When you press enter, the script will activate (shift to reload) and in the console you will see "ERROR - Couldn't find geom with ID #24798" even when it does exist, pls help me find out whats wrong, the script is in the green block that has "v2" on it.

its because you cannot set geomID of a newly created element

try this:

thing := <scene add something>
g := thing.geomID
I don't understand, my problem is that the blue start hinge does not connect to the "v2" block
I don't think you can use script to add a hinge to an existing object. You need to create the object(s) that you are connecting the hinge to.
why does a laser point in my mouse pointers general direction?
also i just moved the hinge back to the place and it was connected to the "V2" block
