This is an easy game and instructions are in the scene. I may upload more difficult versions of it if there seems to be much interest in people playing it.

Would you like to create your own version of this game? No problem! Simply start the sim, then rearrange the blocks by moving them around by clicking on them. When you have them placed exactly like you want the game to start, save it to your computer. Next time you open the game it will be in the same configuration when you saved it. DO NOT MOVE THE BLOCKS AROUND WHILE THE SIM IS STOPPED! If you do, then the game will not work properly because it depends on exact positions. Even the slightest bump or nudge to a block while the game is stopped will cause it to not function properly.

Nice work. This scene is very easy use and has a nice presentation. The code behind the scene is fairy involved, so I started digging into it. I thought "Why abstract the game board to an array when the objects themselves have all the necessary info?". The code is in the response scene.

Thanks for the kudos and suggestions. I appreciate them very much.

As you know, when it comes to programming, there are as many ways to code a project as there are programmers. Everyone does it differently while achieving the same results. I'm sure that your method of coding this scene would work just as well as mine, but the method I used is the way I preferred to do it and I'm not going to change it. Most of my scenes over the last 10 years have worked very well. The coding may not have been as elegant as it can be but it certainly was efficacious.

My perspective is that your code is very effective and better than most coders on Algobox. I also think that the concept of the scene is more important than the coding. If I had a good idea for a scene, then I would probably be making that scene instead of picking on yours. The reason I suggest code changes is because I'm always trying to make my code simpler and appreciate it when somebody shows me a better way (like your code suggestion for the Rolling Stone scene). Another reason is it might make future scenes easier. In this case, the code suggestion would make scaling up to larger grids trivial.

Reply: That's why I often choose to make games. There are LOTS of online games that provide some really good ideas... and who doesn't like to play games? They are popular with adults as well as with kids.

Kirby007 -- Please be more specific. It would also help if you describe what type of platform you play Algodoo on (Windows?, Mac?, iPad?). Do you use a mouse or touch screen?
