Algodoo

This is a tilting barrel short recoil semi automatic pistol. It is loaded from the top using clips or individual cartridges.

When the magazine is loaded, pull down the slide release tab (top rear of magazine) to chamber the first round. Disengage the safety by moving the safety switch (located above the trigger) to the forward position. The pistol is now ready, pull the trigger to fire and automatically chamber the next round. The slide automatically locks open when the magazine is empty.

The parts of the gun coloured red are user interface components:
Trigger, safety switch, slide release, clip loading guide slot and striker cocking handle.

Cyan pieces are user operated moving parts, such as the safety and trigger mechanisms.

Green pieces are the barrel and related components.

Blue pieces form the striker.

Grey pieces are major moving parts which do not need to be operated by the user except in cases of malfunction. This includes the slide.

Black/dark grey components are non moving structural components which are fixed to the background.
