1 extract the Algodoo sounds.rar into documents Algodoo folder
2 extract the boom.rar and put boom folder into sounds folder that
you put in documents algodoo folder
3 put playSnd.exe on deskop as a shortcut
4 run the playSnd and algodoo together
5 play the scene

Yes it can Algodoo is supposed to have sound but the idea was scrapped for some reason, if you looking at the application files you Will found sound folder which is unused
Thats why someone in the internet Made some application that Made Algodoo able to have sounds
