Anyways. Do you know if it is possible to extend the limit of camera zoom? I only managed to change it by forcing it via postStep to go beyond 3000 or below 1.5, but at this point the zoom gets really jumpy and resets to the (upper or lower) limit as soon as I stop the simulation.

Not that I know of. I've tried extending the zoom limits for one of my older scenes but without success. I'm sure that it's limited for a good reason.

T_Reißig - algodoo has a barely-documented setting called god.godmode. setting it to true will, among other things, increase the upper bound for zooming in.

Yes. As Unity mentioned, there is a setting called God.Godmode.

My first action actually when I install Algodoo on a new computer is to turn this option on. Not only does it increase the max zoom distance, but it also allows you to modify hingeConstant and hingeBend settings from the right click menu rather than having to go into the Script Menu.
