I picked up and improved, then found a use for an old project of mine. The "airfoils" are the scripted units with lots of circles, and the propulsion units are the ones with four. Lift generation is done with air friction as a byproduct of forward motion, unlike most of the "airfoils" I've seen. My favorite part is that it can glide. The downside is that it does not produce lift/drag ratios comparable to real-life airfoils, but that doesn't bother me too much. The other downside is that moving backwards can sometimes invert them and screw up their aerodynamic properties. That can be fixed by pressing Y for about half a second, though.

LEVEL: I built some stuff to make it a bit more interesting than just a cool plane that flies. You start on a runway and must pull up to dodge trees and buildings. You then encounter a tethered balloon that you should probably shoot with the machine gun to release and get it out of your way. Then you go down (or if you have ridiculous bombing skills just stay up high) and try to hit the neo-nazis in their bunker with your bomb.

CONTROLS (also in scene)
UP arrow to run the engines. Nose up with LEFT arrow, nose down with RIGHT arrow. Some time soon I will try to make another plane with pitch control done by manipulating the airfoils. To activate the airbrake, use DOWN arrow.
If the airfoils get inverted, occasionally caused by backwards movement, you can un-mess them with Y. If you shoot off your machine gun so much that the spent ammo gets laggy (it disappears but is not destroyed on contact), you can destroy it with L.
