Can anyone guess how each marble ends up in the correct bin? Leave a comment.

Important Rule: Super Guru Black Belt Thyme Script gods need not apply (you know who you are!).

Update: Reduced friction to zero in order to mitigate jams. Also improved color variation in bins. Thanks to s_noonan for his suggestions.

Update: Embellished the scene with images of giant marbles.

You sly sneaker, I see what you did!
Of course you did! You are a Guru Thyme Script god. (not quite a Super Guru Black Belt, but close to it!);)
What's cool about this scene is you could drag any marble from any bin and move it to any other bin and it will become the correct color!

In fact, you could use the Move tool while the sim is paused and the marble color will still change! How cool is that?

Suggestion:
Side fumbling can be effectively prevented by using six hydrocoptic marzlevanes.

s_noonan you are such a perfectionist. ;)

Anyhow, thanks for the suggestions. I always appreciate them.

My excuse: As you probably noticed, I made this scene for the marble race community. They obviously are not concerned about accuracy or precision, and I didn't want to spend a lot of time making it.
My excuse: I can't help myself and lack self-control.

Anyhow, I realize suggestions are just suggestions. I don't cry for too long if they are not implemented.
Keep this in mind: Even if I don't use your suggestions I always learn something from them. So, keep 'em coming!
OK, I've stopped crying.
sneeky xray also keeps the kids wondering how
Absolutely! Kids should learn to become critical thinkers and to ask questions rather than to automatically believe whatever crackpot pseudoscience that someone tries to feed them.
Yes, and they should definitely learn about hydrocoptic marzlevanes.
I'm surprised you found that! I was the chief electronics engineer on that project about 20 years ago when the hydrocoptic marzlevane was developed. THIS VIDEO describes its major components.

This is cheating!
No it isn't! I made it the way it is just for fun, and it doesn't cheat anyone out of anything. It's just a kind of puzzle that people try to figure out.
oh ok
where can u ask question about algodoo btw ?
It depends on what the question is about. For technical questions about Algobox or Algodoo, you can ask me by leaving a comment in any of my scenes. Since you are here already, you can ask it now. If it's about something that I cannot answer, I'll try to point you to someone else who might be able to answer it.

What is your question?
i made a bug report and you deleted it ! why?
I deleted it for three reasons:

1. We already know about this issue.
2. You forced this bug to crash Algodoo by intentionally making a large pile of ropes instead of a normal (sensible) scene. There are many ways to make Algodoo crash by creating unusual conditions, and those extreme conditions are not normally considered "bugs".
3. I do not leave scenes posted on Algobox that cause erratic computer conditions such as extreme lag or crashes. No one likes that.
ok i am relly sorry about that but you don't know how to fix ?
It is not fixable by me or anyone else here on Algobox. Only the engineers who work at Algoryx (the company that owns Algodoo and Algobox) can fix it. They might fix issues such as this one down the road, but as far as I know, they have no plan to update Algodoo in the near future. If you don't try your hardest to make Algodoo do weird things, it will work just fine as the physics simulator that it was intended to be.
ok thx
heee hee change color
meanwhile me trying to make a rainbow:
that was very cool, I like how the marbles change color so thay get sorted well.
Thanks!
When I was making Numberblocks with faces it crashed?
This is cool
_o_

:s do mario lukey blocks instead :s

Windows hall done the color changer
