agreed with paradigm.
but the original theo jansen's mechanism has 120 degrees/stride, so it would need 3 legs to replace a wheel, not two

I don't think the point is really the theo jansen mechanism as much as it is the engine...

very good :tup: but i think it is more realistic with the engine starter hinge set to: 180rpm and 1100 strenght. It's slower to start and slower to stop, making it look like those radial engines from airplanes (you could make one of these too)
