The hands move, but that's all it does! LOL

Update: Added Hours hand. Also, it keeps fairly good time!
Update: Added a swinging pendulum.

I noticed that the hour and minute hand speeds are off 102% and 2%. Is that intentional?

Thank you!
s_noonan -- User xSuperVelax11124 asked for "an animated clock" and he didn't care if it actually kept time. He just wanted a clock with moving hands and that's what I gave him! I know that it's not accurate, but if you would like to correct the timing or do anything else with it, please go ahead.
Xray,

No, I won't be modifying this scene. It's much easier to just complain. I don't know how you sleep at night knowing that your clock is that far off.
Here's the exact speeds in radians/second:
second hand: 2*math.pi/60
minute hand: 2*math.pi/3600
hour hand: 2*math.pi/(12*3600)
The tricky thing about clocks is to get each hand directly over each other while still being connected to the face plate. I propose that you stack the hands on top of each other so it's face plate|hour|minute|second hand order. In that case the speeds (rad/sec) would be:
second hand: 2*math.pi/60 - 2*math.pi/3600 - 2*math.pi/(12*3600)
minute hand: 2*math.pi/3600 - 2*math.pi/(12*3600)
hour hand: 2*math.pi/(12*3600)

Yeah, if I were going to take the time to make an accurate clock I would have spent the time doing the correct calculations as you did. But in this particular case, I just threw together something that sort of moved like a real clock because that's all the user asked for. I normally do pay attention to detail (within my scope of knowledge) when making scenes for Algodoo and even for things in real life. Some mechanical things that I've made in my home shop are not very accurate or precise, and some things are quite good, and I'm proud of them. In every case, it was fun making them and a learning experience!:)
Noticed one minute to the clock is apparently 71 seconds…:/
