this box hovers about 1.5 meter above the target.
the target is the small car:P
tip: only scale the car, but definetly do not scale the thrusters (the things that move left and right)

note: if u think its slow, say it cuz i can make i faster by using other type of engines:P

control with arrow keys (control the car, the box is automatic:P)

as long as the car can get past the terrain, the hovering box can also:P

You should check my NGne and K-Probe - they have same principle but much more stable. 8/10 anyway - godd job!
Kilinich, i dont get what your devices do, they seem to only have collision changing and alot of scripting, but i dont see anything hovering...
sure they are on same principe?
mine uses density to hover... the closer it gets to the target, the ligher it will get (on the y ax)
No, i think he means the design of the probe, yours are not very stable.

I would create a box, then put a circle in the middle.

then create two small rectangles.

center hinge the circle to the box

take the rectangles and put one so that it is just barely touching

put the onther so it is touching a little more then the first.

now have the rectangles change the collide set for the circle, and put code in the circle.

Makes a very fast and stable probe
