In about 30 minutes' work, I cracked the code! Don't open this scene if you want to try it yourself. Answer isn't in the thumbnail for obvious reasons.
There's a line of the script I turned red, I couldn't verify what it meant. Maybe there was a mistake in it? Can't be sure.

Anyway, thank ScienceSimulations for the challenge!
