for those who dont understand the title, its a laser gun :P

i chose the word 'rail', as i wanted this to be somewhat of a railgun/laser. the C came from combot/chronos, and the 985... randomness :D

press RIGHT ARROW to shoot. holding down the arrow may increase power slightly

the results of this are random. it could do nothing, or it could blow some crap up :coolgrin:

to reload, just drag a laser tube from the clip, slide it all the way into the barrel, and push it back (after a while, it should pull back automatically)

and like the description says, it SO isnt a spartan laser ripoff ;)

Ehrm, make it RIGHT ARROW, not LEFT.
Nice concept, but I think you should make some kind of reloadsystem.

just so you know,a railgun shot is blue,and with a gray projectile itself.also,it is nothing like a laser.and it shoots at nearly lightspeed with intense blowback,enough so that if there were a handheld version,(which there isn't)it would have so much recoil it would blow you off the planet.

Actually there is no such thing as a rail gun, and the correct term is "coil gun" or "electro magnetic" gun. there is no shot "Color" because a rail gun is a peice of metal flung out of a barrel using magnetism. its called a "rail gun" because the slab of metal that is shot is lying on rails. there are actual coil guns and they have nearly NO blowback. infact there are handheld coil guns. another name for a version of a rail gun is a gauss rifle. this is the gun that uses coils and not rails. its all the same principle though. THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL that a rail gun could bring anything faster than even a bullet, they are used primarily in the military for sending missles. this technology is still in testing though. I think that i will rate this 10/10 for the ignorant comments on this scene.;)
