I've got 4gb and it didn't freeze up my computer. You did have to throw it quite some distance away though, otherwise it explodes all the bombs and then theres some lag.

hmm... weird maybe some script doesnt work right way it has almost no lag on me (well the towers lag alot so try removing them)

I get maybe half a second of lag AT MOST when I pick up one bomb and slam it straight down into the box.

Ram isn't to much of a big deal when running phun... better performance with better processor... im on 1.73gh duel core... with 2g of ram on vista and it runs almost perfectly for me, if i had got rid of the towers it would be perfect. the explosion radius is to big...
otherwise i would use them everywhere

I think i know how this works!
In the thin green strip in the bombs there's some oncollie that spawns a circle that grows larger and after some time delete's itself

sick i got a overclocked quad core processor with hyper-threading on its running at 3.32 ghz

I have 3 GB of RAM and 2.60 GHz processor and it's completely lag-free.
