The operation of the buttons is confusing because it doesn't work like a real elevator. For example, when I press the 2 key, the elevator may or may not move up depending on the state of the 1 key toggle. In order for this elevator to work correctly, you may need to add a little bit of logic in a simple script. Using the keys by themselves as you have done cannot make it work correctly.

With a bit more work, you should be able to make it work perfectly!
