these are my walking mechanics
its the first steb of my goal to make a self balanced
dynamic walker

what u see here is my try to turn the circle movment
into a more controllable movment

im getting good results but they cant go 2 stebs on their own
so il work on it more >D

the red bars moving up and down are for syncronisation of the of the powered wheels

very good design its much harder now that there arent any raunits
i think you just have to work on weight distribution but i dont think this walker will ever be able to go up hills and stuff. if you get the weight balance right it probably wont fall over i think its a little back heavy
yeah but this one falls over because of the leg moving
it get pushed to much upwards i have to find a way to control that better
maybe with seqeuncing ill try that later ^^
Also you might want to try a simple weight equalization device (pretty much a heavy box or ball attached to a circle with a motor; have the motor spin when the vehicle is going forward or back.

Overall through nice concept. What are you planning to do with this once the bugs are worked out?

yeah it also think about a weight equalization device i mean look at us humans we move our arms when walking and we move all of our upper body just look at how disabled move and then at how normal people move and youll see differences a weight equalizator would be cool

i noticed that it could walk without the front safety weehl
^^ i bnuild one wich moved the upper body forward and backward
it looked so funny ^^
but first i have to make better forward movmet with the legs
Maybe you should try adding addition legs? Or perhaps segmented feet?

Just some ideas.

Also I found some pieces that aren't necessary (as far as I can see), for example the two purple circles and the red and green box assembly. Are these just for show, or do they play a part in the operation of the machine?

just the safetywheels, but this looks better I think
Maybe you should do something with magnetic, so i doesn't bounce forward and backward anymore..:+
@1storange those "assembly" are keeping the motor wheels syncron
and segmented feets doesnt have a big effect
maybe if i could control the segments seperatly from the overall movment...
but im working on the balance and force direction first
