1 releases the balls. There are several ways to return the ball to the hopper. One of the more elaborate ones is set up as the scene starts. The up and down arrows control the two bounce plates on the left. After you get familiar with the controls hit 2 to let the triangles rotate and considerably complicate the game play.;)

Interesting, I opened up this scene again and the first balls are not making it back to the hopper consistently. I have no idea why, maybe because I also have a lot of other programs open. I have a lot to learn about how Phun works.
Anyhow, the game should play well, once you get going.
