a better idea to make it more stable is to move the warhead tip to where you want to place, THEN add the spring, tweak it, compress it and add a hinge to it. this way spring will keep its extended position the way it was before. also, for better explosive power make the whole bomb heavier, and add more damping to the springs, so that they dont move wildly the rocket. if that fails, add MORE bounciness to the warhead.

i also find clever your 0 bounciness method to avoid premature exploding isssues.
