The simple quad vortex utilizing springs to create an amazing 3D effect. zoom in to view the complex inner spiral vortex, then unpause and drag the outside square to view the interesting effect.

(For the physics majors: "a small drag on the outer large square allows for the same amount of energy to be transfered to the smaller inner squares. Thus creating a large recoil within the small squares to make them go further and faster then the larger squares.")

The springs are all the same width and have the same strength.
