So, this is my first experiment on bolt locking, and I decided to put it on a straight-pull bolt-action rifle. It does its job, the bolt won't move (maybe a little bit) even with powerful ammunition. It is kinda unrealistic that a bolt-action rifle is hammer-fired and not striker-fired, but it works well. You may ask why the hammer has this weird shape. You see, if the gun doesn't work you can take it apart and the hammer serves as a bottle opener.
I know that there are only three rounds in the magazine. Trust me, I tried double-stacking them but it just won't work. Very appreciated if someone had a tutorial on how to double-stack rounds in a magazine. The trigger mechanism is somewhat crude, but it works well too. Sometimes the striker can fall out because of the recoil, I can't do much about it. If it falls out, undo the simulation.
If you don't know how to operate a bolt-action rifle:
1. Pull the bolt handle backwards (the gray ball above the trigger, towards the stock).
2. Push the bolt forwards to chamber a round. The bolt should lock now.
3. Pull the trigger to shoot (you can press ENTER too).
4. Pull the bolt handle backwards again, now the empty shell should eject.
5. Repeat from point 2. |
