I used the same method I used in my 'weird sensor thingy' scene.
Hit play, and watch it collect the circles. It uses lasers and simple scripts to find the food.

The red circle can be controlled with the arrow keys

it has still some problems at the edges but it is so awesome!! and creepy, too!! ^^ ... now it looks totally like the bobbit worm
