If the "Baller" misses the melon, the melon still gets balled when it hits the ground. Suggestion: If the baller misses the melon, the melon should remain whole when it hits the ground, OR more realistically, the melon should break into a number of large chunks (not balls) when it hits the ground.

Fun scene, but the fun wears off very quickly. So, if you wanted to put the time and effort into making a game out of it (maybe multiple moving targets?), then it would be much more interesting and fun over a longer period of time. Just my humble opinion.
The unwritten (until now) point of this scene is that the canon ball hits the melon at any speed as long as the laser initially points at the watermelon. The reason this works is that the canon ball is falling at the same rate as the watermelon. I will remove the canon angle adjustment and change the scene slightly in order to make that point.
Yeah, that makes more sense now. I sort of knew that the first time I ran the scene, but then I over-complicated it by trying to make a game out of it. The thing that threw me off was the title "Melon Baller", and so I thought that was the main point of the scene. Sorry.
