This is a fictional "zero-zero" ejection seat, than can operate safely at ground level with no airspeed (Altitude=0, Speed=0).
ACES III does not exists in the real world, but it reproduces carefully the most important functions of the real ejection seats and simulates in detail the ejection procedure.
For this reason the ejection process (sequence) is very realistic.
This seat is crash-proof, very reliable and works in heavy conditions. The only limit is the pilot's health.
The design is fully mechanical, with only few exceptions. Later, after a lot of testing, I added some script only for visual effects.
I spent a lot of time on this project, I suppose this could be one of my best scenes...
