The engine works no problem, but how do you change gears? :s I can't make this thing move!
I forgot, ill update it in a moment!
@Xray - Hold C while pressing A or Z to change gears.
@vaidas369 - Im freaking imprssed with this scene! It looks amazing from my point of view, so I guess I love old school Algodoo scenes _o_
@lololoer - That's an awkward way to change gears!

@vaidas369 - Suggestion: Make changing gears simple, such as numbers 1,2,3,etc.

Otherwise, NICE JOB on the scene!
@Xray - That way of changing gears is more realistic and so it makes changing gears more interesting :)
@vaidas369 - I would be very glad if you make another buggy like the one I added to favourites!

@vaidas - In your edited scene, it says: UP/DOWN - A/Z, but that does not work! As lololoer said, you have to hold "C" while pressing A/Z.
Will do!:D
Xray, yeah i just updated last details sorry that i forgot the mention gearing.
Xray i think you don't drive manual gearbox cars, that how it is in reality.:)
Yes, I used to drive manual transmission car, but I did not have to press and hold the C key! I only had to press the clutch peddle! LOL!
Awesome, this car reminds me of that one car I made a little while ago! This also drives smoothly and everything as well! I like it:tup:
Well clutch pedal is a C button, you just have to hold it like you do with the pedal. And the shift, that's all:D The same if you shift gear up or down.
Vroom~
Great job!

How do you make your I4 engines work!!? I'm really bad at long inline engines like this. that's why most of my cars have V engines or long transverse inlines because i'm bad at this kind of engine
For me its even more simple to make this kind of engine, also it uses not so much collision layers...

How i make my I4 engines work? I'm not sure if you should ask this question, your engines are well.

Well i don't know what does not works for you pnvv but it works for me well.

Maybe you using a wrong discipline or the pistons, i don't know
I've never liked inline engines where every piston gets its own cylinder. I've never gotten them to run vey well, and also they are not very space efficient. I mean, why have a long engine with only 1 piston per cylinder when you can put all 4 in 1 cylinder? It won't save weight, but space.
If i would use 1 cylinder for one piston i'll use A,B,C collision layers.
2 pistons in 1 cylinder A,B,C,D,E. And 3 or 4 takes A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I and there is no layers left.
I use them only for the layers...
Algodoo needs more layers...
Why do it that way? I can get an I4 using only 5 collision layers and some skillful application of heterocollide plus 1 more for the ignition system.
you just got me an idea of saving some layers...
Nope did not worker, unless i would use a different exhaust system.

I've never built one with an exhaust system so i've never ran into that problem
Nice work!
great! I am going back to algodoo I just cant miss your scenes, this is perfect
Great toni! i knew you cant leave us here alone!
So I came back to this scene because it is so awesome. I discovered that the engines still handles relatively well after 3 out of 4 cylinders blow up. That is until rear axles blow up destroying everything on the screen and sending the truck flying into space.

I still adore it <3
