@Kidest Araya -- You uploaded a scene titled "For mariofan5", and then NINE MINUTES later you uploaded an exact copy of the same scene! That cannot happen by itself. YOU are doing it for some reason. I see that you deleted the copy, but you need to figure out WHY this is happening and how to stop it. I looked through all of your older scenes, and you seem to have a habit of doing that. You'd better figure out what is causing your scenes to be uploaded twice because if it continues you could get banned from Algobox for spamming.

I have given more than a couple warnings and deleted just as many duplicate scenes with the latest being this morning. If nothing else after you upload a scene you can click on your name and look at all your scenes and delete the duplicates yourself.

@Kidest Araya -- In response to your question, "How do you delete scenes completely?", I think you are referring to the fact that when a user deletes their own scene, it no longer gets displayed on the Algobox list of scenes, but you can still see the scene in your own personal list of scenes when you click on your own user name. If that's what you are referring to, here is why it works that way. When you delete a scene, it really does not get deleted from the Algobox web site, but it simply gets tagged as located in the "Deleted" group of scenes. It was done that way so that if a user who deletes a scene by mistake, he/she can "undelete it" which then brings it out of the "Deleted" group, and puts it back into the "Default" or "Marble Race" group where all other users can see it.

Any Admin can view ALL deleted files in the "deleted" group, but non-Admin users can only view their own deleted scenes that are in the "deleted" group. That is why any Admin can "undelete" any scene in the "deleted" group.

I did. And they were not banned "for no reason", as children often say.

The reason why we do not allow users to make personal announcements (with only a couple of exceptions) is because we do not want scenes to be used for chatting with each other. You are supposed to do your chatting and announcing IN THE ALGODOO FORUM! That's what the forum is for. I don't understand why you kids are so afraid of using the forum. It's not complicated. The only requirement is you need to log-in separately from Algobox. You can use your Algobox user name, or you can use a different one. But the point is, the forum is for chatting about different topics, and you can even use it to make announcements. So, for example, if someone gets banned from Algobox, they can still log-in to the forum and announce to the world that he/she is banned. And if they don't behave on the forum, they could get banned from that too!

As long as everyone plays by the rules, then no one needs to worry about being banned. It's really that simple.

Um wild bill I can’t help deleting one scene cause then I make the same upload my stuff just wont let me upload the thing I want so I send it again but is there anything I can do to stop it

Watermelonkid341 after you upload the first time stop! Do not upload a second time, just trust that it was a successful upload on the first try! If you are using the algobox browser that's in the game and not going direct to the algobox without the games browser, use google chrome or some other browser then upload direct from your files.

@Wild Bill and XRay:It turns out that my vacations are going to be really messy and instead of having to post 1 scene stating that I am going to be inactive;I'll have to post 4 and 1 of them will have to state that I will be inactive in every Saturday and Sunday for the rest of the 3 months.So,am I allowed to post this 4 scenes without the worrying of getting banned?

@MasterGamer - That will be Okay with me so long as you keep the message short and to the point. No rambling about the weather or about your computer problems and those sorts of things. We do allow people to post a quick message when they will be gone from Algobox for some length of time and also when they return.

wild bill is now the official Admin here on Algobox, and so what he tells you is what you should go by. I am just here occasionally to fill in when wild bill is away.

YellowYoshi To subscribe to a user go to one of their scenes and the subscribe button is just above the ratings bar.

YellowYoshi - wild bill is correct, but only if you use a standard web browser such as Internet Explorer, or FireFox, or Chrome, or most any other browser. But if you use only the Algodoo built-in browser, you will not be able to subscribe. The Algodoo built-in browser is simple and very limited. It can only upload and download scenes, and leave comments, but that's about it!

And I suspect its the algobrowser that makes people double post scenes?

That I'm not sure about, but I wouldn't doubt it. Virtually everyone who uses the Internet has a regular browser of some sort on their computer, and so I see no reason at all to use that worthless Algodoo browser.

And I'm a 100% sure I delete all my duplicates
I don't know how to use the other not built in browser that you can do on google to upload scenes?
Plus you guys said above that you don't duplicate if you don't use the built in algodoo browser.

Also your duplicate scenes almost all have a gibberish scene title typed in meaning you typed a random bunch of letters where the scene title goes then hit upload so you are doing it intentional for some reason so stop it please

jdw6701 - Your "teaser" scene was deleted because teaser scenes are a waste of server space and they also waste anyone's time who downloads and views the teaser scene. Algobox is already over-crowded with all those "camp" scenes and "Algocathilon" (or whatever they are called) scenes. Teaser scenes serve no useful purpose, and that is why we Admins delete them. Please do not continue to clutter up Algobox any worse than it already is with teaser scenes.
