this is possibly my favorite ball machine.

do you mind if i upload an altered version of it?
nice model.

it nicely displays how snakes such as ball pythons and other species travel in straight lines.
kutis, that had crossed my mind, but my goal was making it without any scripts (besides the water gen) or other special stuff. basically, running solely off the pressure of the water and normal gravity.

you can feel free to use/upload one with stuff like that if you want though.

i'm currently experimenting with using 2 cylinders offset a bit to prevent the wheel from going the wrong way when starting or traveling slowly, and a much smaller water holding area with more water being generated in it to have greater pressure with less water.

they work fine for me using algadoo v1.8
no clue why they wouldn't for you guys.
the front wheels on the front car keep popping off for me.
plus....the first person ends up bounding up and down on the lap of the 2nd person, like they are having a *very* good time :P
this is my favorite tower to destroy.
and the best one i've seen so far
it's nice.

you can reduce the water seen on screen and thus the lag without effecting the power by reducing the size of the large open center area that the water is generated in.
lol, now if only it could be made to drive a vehicle.
looks awesome.

but it just blows up for me even if i just hit play and let it sit for a few seconds without hitting any keys.
i'm also using 1.8.0

it always seems to happen the same way, the boom bounces a few times, then flies into pieces, throwing everything around. if i delete the boom from it, then the outriggers will be seen flying down and causing the truck to go into the air.
having a spinning disk with gravity following its orientation is pretty much the same as not having any gravity at all because as the gravity direction changes, it cancels itself out.
nice.
but i think those lifts waste way too many balls.

they are nice, but not for such a large distance
nice.

its nice, but not for such a large distance
reminds me of the movie speed 2
i have yet to see a better breakable car

the track is nice too.
i saved the car as a phunlet and often import it into other scenes with tracks as well.

its ok.

sorry, but i think its far from the best.
i have yet to see one better then Ulquiorra's desert track car
after a short time running it, a few valves failed.
whoever had this heart would have needed quite a bit of surgery.
its not steam powered, its a combustion engine.
i am no where near as experienced as many others on here, but wouldn't just adding a 3rd collision to the balls have easily solved the issue?
gears collision A
paddles and wheel collision B
purple track collision C
balls collision A, B, and C

nothing that overlaps shares the same collision mode so no conflicts.

it is a very nice bucket wheel excavator
i downloaded it and modded it so the balls are sent back to the front of the scene. never ending loop of balls to dig up:P

its nice.

but i personally wouldn't real call it 'working like real' as the steam itself is not moving the cylinder, a script is generating stuff in the cylinder like in all the combustion engines that are on the site.

I'm here. Been busy with real life work (my work week is sun-wed) so haven't really had time to reply.

Thanks for the comments everybody:)
I'm really glad that you like it. I've been visiting the site a lot over the past years and have been seeing more and more marble things that often didn't work or looked real cheesy (no offense meant to any creators). I remember long ago proper marble mazes/machines were pretty common but I guess as the community grew and a lot of new users came around, the quality has gone down simply due to lack of experience.

I've been tossing around ideas in my head for another marble machine. Nothing decided on yet though.
