Thx for posting, did you try phun 5.28?

Algodoo has a natural limit after one point so you will not see any increase in FPS no matter what number you type into Sim speed. I just typed 10000 and it showed 30 fps,it will simply run at max speed that sustains 30 fps and it will not allow for it to drop below that point. Phenom II at 4ghz with OCed NB and Ram has something like 22 on phun 5.28. Trial version algodoo will not drop under 34 fps for me no matter what number i input.

i need to make a better benchmark, thx for info , any info is valuable.
Thx for the response guys.

Ok did you start the sim and then had 35 and 32 frame rates respectively or did you had them before you even started the sim?

Secondly all of my data is on top in the description.
2064 objects
phenom II 3.2

what machines are you using?
Version 1.1 is posted top , try that one.
Use phun 5.28
thx m8, i hope this one is better.

Btw how high could you overclock your cpu if you have only 1 or 2 cores and the rest shut down?

if its no biggie could you post that result as well?
"I would love to se some i5 or i7 scores! "

its the only reason i made this benchmark

2886 is awesome, its 200 or so more particles then expected at that frequency, did you additionally raise your ram above 1600 or NB above 2600?

"Also running phun off a USB helps for performance."

lol didnt know this
Phun 5.28
Circles 1550
Intel mobile p6100 2000 Mhz
Windows 7
10.6 phun 5.28

mobile P6100 2.0Ghz (Nehalem on 32 nm = westmere, same generation i3 530 (2010))
ram on 1066 Mhz
Thank you Cartuner55512

it would be awesome if you could also do 5.28 and other '400 particles ' benchmark
phun 5.28
score 2013
i5 sandy bridge 3.0 ghz
phun 5.28
score 15.66
i5 sandy bridge 3.0 Ghz
2781 is awesome, but it seems to much. Did you measure this at 40 FPS?

i5 can run 2000 particles at 3 Ghz and 40 fps in phun 5.28 which is 20% faster then algodoo. So i would expect around 2400 particles at 3.7 Ghz in phun and maybe 2000 in algodoo 2.01. Your score seems to much...

And your cpu does boost to 3.7 Ghz. Northbridge is QPI for intel cpus , i think other name for it are hypertransport, but dont worry about it , its on default if you did not overclock it.
