The Initial rotator location is approxamately where it will be at the 1 hour mark to ensure a true hour. Based on processor speed, some slower computers will not perform properly due to lag.
@ DrBalk... I copied the sun and innermost planet and placed them waaaay far out away from the sun and they both gradually drew closer toward the original sun. Then once their trajectory looked like a good speed, I moved them closer to the original sun with the direction perpendicular to the original sun so that they would both "ride into" the orbital path together while maintaining the orbit.
NOTICE!!! This is planetarium 2. Not the one with the moon. That one is simply called Planetarium. The comments are left over from this being created from a copy of the original planetarium. If anyone wishes to see the one with the moon, just look up "Planetarium" under my scenes. --- Norg
Anyone reading this? I am not seeing any of my work being posted. Is anyone seeing my scenes in Algobox? If so, I could use some help. Has anyone else had this problem? I havent broken any rules, so I don't think I'm banned. Help!
this is fun to watch. I like the return track for loose balls. I had to do something kinda like this on my 10-hour clock. If you want, you can use my method too, just do not copy - paste. make your own version, and let me know so I can check it out.
Wow! this took a long time! Dark blue got ejected by the return elevator.
btw I designed a different type of marble return.. lemme kno what you think! it's on my 10 hour clock scene. smooth and effective. if you want to use the method go ahead! , just tag my name -Norg (Atomchild) I'm just starting out and it will help!
first, turn all marbles friction to 0 or low or they get stuck.
also, make slopes instead of flat, so they can roll downwards.
AND put a block at the end, or the marbles just fly off the end.
check out my scene ---10 hour clock--- for some examples on how to handle marbles. if you want to use some of my methods, tag my name. I'm just starting out here and im trying to get my name out because I'm good.
Xray, are you still active on algodoo algobox? I have some stuff you might like, and I'm curious to see if you have any advice for my ideas. I want to show people just how beautiful algodoo can be.
Update2
It's now a 12 hour clock with minute indicators.
if there's 5 balls at the bottom, 3 in the middle and 1 in the top...
that would make it 2:46
.
Easy to read and accurate within seconds (depending on computer speed)
