Yes, I did try to crush it with the gate, but for some reason it wouldnt come back down. I tried it 3 times but it STILL wouldnt work.

It seems to me that 8 ohm isnt accatually that powerful. I have an 8 ohm subwoofer thats brand new, and its 150 watt and its not very powerful. 6 ohm seems to be really quiet, even at full volume. 4 ohm is the best. I have a 8 ohm plugged into my stereo, and whenever you turn it off on the wall, nothing happens. The same happens on the 6 ohm but on the 4 ohm whenever you switch it off on the wall, it does a really loud *BOOF* They are all 150 watt. And they are all brand new. i did have 2 big 650 watt pioneer stock car speakers from a motorhome. (My dad ownes a scrapyard/junkyard thats full of old cars and loads of other junk) Im surprised u could fit that size speaker in a motorhome! I hooked them up to my alpine amp and I had them on full volume max bass and after 45 mins they blew and exploded the caught fire. Lol i didnt think that this comment was this long and thanks for reading!!!
