I didn't feed it, so it sank to the bottom of the tank and...well you know. Went 'belly up' . Poor fish.
But seriously, the fish fell off its track after a few minutes, but other than that it's perfect. Well, it is kinda silly that it swims upside-down, but that can't be helped.
I thought it was pretty cool at first, but then the big smashing thing wouldn't lift up to smash me, and I couldn't get past. I'll hold back my rating for now, because it doesn't work quite right, or I did something wrong. If that one part got fixed, I'm sure it'd be an awesome scene.
Well thanks for the compliment, and for confirming what I thought about the gears. Seems like the third gear is a little too fast, and the first gear is too slow.
What do you think about the gear shifter? (the little box with three lasers, one constantly on)
It took like 2 hours of work to get the thyme to work right. Which is a lot for me for such a small thing that does....not much.
Is it supposed to be semi-automatic? It doesn't work fully automatically, it just jams after the first shot every time, then you have to cycle it again. If it's supposed to be semi-auto, it should have a mechanism to keep it from firing again when you keep the trigger held down. Either way, it doesn't work properly.
6/10 cause it fires, and it's got a good rifle texture, but it doesn't work properly (and I'm using algodoo 2.0.1 b3 educational, so it's not the program I'm using (unless you made this with a different 2.0.1 beta, but they're not very different so that's probably not the problem)).
I guess it's okay, but it's just a thruster moving it so it's not really an engine. No wait, it's not just "not really an engine", it just isn't an engine at all. Circle on an axle, gear crap in the middle, and a thruster moving it all. 3/10 cause it was a little bit neat, but not an engine.
Nothing at all moved on it, so I was pretty disappointed with that. It's really cool looking though. Another thing that I didn't like was it's not realistic in the firing mechanism. Just has a spinning ball with a killer on it.
Couldn't get it to work at all. I couldn't even drag a round into the chamber and pull the bolt forward, and when I pointed the gun upward, something fell out that looked important.
Temporary rating: 3/10 because it didn't work for me, but it looked really cool.
Still doesn't work at all. Give some freaking instructions or something, because I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I tried to pull the small circle near the magazine upwards and downwards, and it did nothing, so give some stinkin' instructions......please.
Thank you. I also think the way they work is interesting. I've been meaning to make one of these for a while, but never got around to it.
Oh, and sirhickory is my brother, he just didn't log out when he was done, so I made that comment with his account on accident . Man I'm sick of that. (has only happened twice, but that's two times too many.)
Maybe it's my computer, but it doesn't load properly. I used the "Press 1 to see how it works", which is a really good feature , and it fired a few times, but it never re-chambered. I appreciate the effort you put in, but it still won't work.
Well thank you for the high score, and for saying it looks real cool . I worked really hard to make it look accurate.
This is how I aligned the laser. Maybe it's more difficult than the way you thought of, but this was the only way I could think to do it:
I used the laser tool, set the laser where I wanted it, but didn't let go of the left click, and zoomed in as far as possible and set it to hit exactly where I wanted.
Then I made the reflector, added a center axle, and rotated it some with the rotate tool so it looked about right. I then set the motor so I could control it with the arrow keys, gave it infinite power, and gave almost no speed to speak of. Like 0.00001 rpm
Then I zoomed out as far as possible, and kinetic panned to the right really far.
I then made a box, checked the plot, and saw that the x position was about 24,000 meters from the center. I used the almost-no-speed-at-all axle to line up the laser with the grid so it'd be perfectly straight.
No scripting was used at all. (although if I had used scripting, it may have made it easier and more precise.)
So edit the scene description and correct it. I'm getting sick of people correcting stuff in the comments instead of actually correcting it. If you don't know how, the blue bar at the top of the page that has the scene name says edit on it. Click it and correct your spelling.
Wow, you just did it again but with a comment. Also, stop leaving so many comments on your own scenes. Like I said, if you need to fix something (or add something) then just edit a comment or scene description.
