Felidae, i can take a look, but expect a little time for the submission. I am rather busy XD
Xray, it would be great if the G-men understood the implications of the second amendment (any restriction on what an individual can possess is direct infringement on possession rights.) I beleive regulation of a "well regulated militia" should mean mandatory weapons and marksmanship training at a certain age at no charge. I also believe that it should be mandatory for every household to have a weapon of some sort for protection against civil or foreign threats. What a nation we would be with less restriction and a better-trained population, eh? Criminals would hesitate to do what they do!
You have won the NG-AR-3 design contest!! I will start working on getting it working soon (I have to make a few small mods to it, but it will look about the same)
hey, Xray, how much experience do you have with loop scripts? I was thinking about possibilities of a "configurable-burst mechanism" for the upcoming NG-AR-3. I have not been able to think of any mechanisms that will allow the user to control how many shots are in a burst. HOWEVER, I was thinking about how the interrupter is moved by collision in a gun every time the bolt closes, and that collision could be used for OnCollide scripting a loop. that loop could be configured somehow to allow the disconnector to engage after a set number of repetitions in the loop script. the number of repetitions for the loop is configured with a box by inputting text into it. Am I making sense?
Anyways, for this scene, I am interested in seeing what examples this information could be used in. It sounds very interesting how the outcome of a script can change when using these variables
it's pretty good, but try working on more realistic firing mechanisms. such mechanisms are more flexible in getting the weapon to do what you want it to. also, increase sim frequency to reduce shakiness
it needs a disconnector to make it truly semi-auto. this slam fires instead (hammer keeps falling forward with slide even after cocked by the slide.) Also try making the feed ramp a bit more direct to avoid failed feeds.
Did you test this before upload? XD I had the sim frequency on the gun at 1200 when I made it for as much reliability as possible. it falls apart at 60 Hertz. thanks for using it anyways
I can't believe nobody bothered to take a look or comment on this. This is absolutely outstanding work! (besides the fact that it is not semi-auto, but slam fire.) A disconnector could easily be added. Maybe work on skins as well?
