Same problem after your recent edit. The chain section of the cross disappears.
EDIT - Okay, if I save it BEFORE starting the scene, then, as you stated, I could use it to make more chain. (Should you state something in the scene about that, so that other people will know how to use it?)
It now works fairly well, but I have 2 suggestions:
1. If the prizes happen to get tipped over onto their sides, then the claw cannot reach down far enough to grab them. So, maybe allow the claw to go farther down.
2. If the up/down keys (. and /) are held too long, the claw rotates around and can become messed up. Maybe put limits on the open and close positions so that it cannot totally spin around.
Of course I was just kidding about the drinking and driving. I was just razzing you because I like your style. I don't drink and drive either. In fact, I rarely drink at all. If I have a glass of wine during Christmas dinner, that's about the extent of it. Things were different many years ago during my time in the US Navy, but we won't get into that.
Yes, I know that! I was just comparing this scene with your previous scenes which produced a LOT of element molecules when selected. Because it is so different, I thought maybe it was a glitch.
By the way, multiple accounts is against the rules, so I banned your user name "dangrlol". We allow only one account per person. Read my FAQ FOR NEW USERS for more information.
This could possibly be the basis for a cops & robbers type of Algodoo game, where the cops (blue car) are chasing the robbers (red car) after a bank robbery.
MORE: I discovered that it's a lot more fun to watch when I change the sim frequency to 30Hz, and I increased the simulation speed (frame rate) to 10.0X. Zoom out, kick back, and enjoy the show!
Unfortunately, It doesn't work! After starting Algodoo, the plot screen shows up, but nothing else happens.
EDIT: Well, I just reloaded the scene, but before starting Algodoo, I zoomed out, and then I saw a goofy smiley face with two thrusters attached to it. Is THAT your heart rate machine?
Yup, good job! That is very similar to what I was working on (you just beat me to it! ). Another limitation that I'm working on is the ability to place the tracer anywhere on another geometry. Currently, it is fixed at one particular pos, and you cannot easily relocate it without modifying the code. I have an idea how to fix that, but maybe you can think of a way that's simpler and/or more efficient.
"The tracer can store its color, size, fadeTime, and relPoint properties (without using Scene.my. variables) on the green bar before being killed."
That's the part I'm not sure how to do. I believe it uses "readable" to get the property values, but I do not know the exact syntax. Could you help me out with that?
Glad you like my idea. I was going to suggest that you add a red flashing light to the police car, but after zooming in, I see that you did provide one along with an alternating blue light. Nice job!
