P.S. Apparently, some people don't appreciate the simplicity of this design. I challenge them to make a walker with fewer objects. This walker only has 2 parts; a hinge and a box. The hinge is used (9) times the box is used (6) times, for a total of (15) objects.
I can't see any difference by looking at them, but I can see by plotting position that the hinge has more overshoot and takes longer to get to position. Nice demonstration.
Sure, lead us on with a few straight line linkages and then show us this complex thing. What type of linkages were used to make this? Worked well except some links went over center on impact. Very cool.
I've been monitoring Trebuchet efficiencies and daniels220 FAKA is approx 30% more efficient than lethalsquirl Merlin. lethalsquirl "Trebuchet With Piano" is about 16% more efficient than daniels220 FAKA. Efficiencies were originally done with info from plots, but can be done more accurately by checking the total energy of the treb and the projectile before firing and then directly after release of projectile.

You are right. It is crap. Its just my poor attempt at humor. See the title of the scene that this is a response to. If Kilinich does not get the joke, maybe his kids will.
