Congratulations, you can read.
When you get grounded, it could mean one of many things:

1. When you are grounded during a lightning strike, the lightning will surge through your body and will vaporize your blood within just a few milliseconds. If you are lucky you will become unconscious and die before your brain registers any pain.

2. Your mother made you stay home while your friends were out partying and they were all talking about you being grounded.

3. You are actually quite intelligent (isn't that a surprise!) and you thoroughly learned a new subject. That means you are "well grounded" in that subject.

4. I can't think of any other ways you can be grounded. If anyone else can think of more ways to be grounded, please add them here in the comments.

Oh, by the way, your scene shows a person getting "ground" by gears. It's a different word from "grounded".

You're Welcome
At first I didn't quite understand what was going on here, but when I switched off gravity, and then switched it back on again, I saw the light!

I learned something new today!
Thank you.
I have been a subscriber to Steve Mould's channel for a long time. All of his videos are fascinating and educational.
Thanks guys! :)
ending?
s_noonan - I resolved that problem by employing a synchromesh gearbox. THANKS!

s_noonan - The brick domino's are different because they are refractory bricks that will be used at a later time to build a brick barbecue.
I agree that the scene is boring but educational tools are not always exciting. If people learn something from this scene, then it served its purpose.
Poor little stick man dies because the Moon has no air to breath. RIP stick man.
Very nice scale. Good job, and it's accurate!

Just a suggestion: The numbers on the readout bar are difficult to read because they are so dark. Make the readout bar and numbers lighter.
Yes, it's much better! _o_
rjoseph - You are wrong. The scene can be found, and it does allow comments. Why do you say such things? <_<
Cool_S -- You can always see how long someone has been here on Algobox by clicking on their username. It will show the registration date and all scenes that the person has uploaded.
You're welcome!
Goodbye test...

Nothing
No, rjoseph, I do not delete scenes unless they violate the Algobox rules. If someone has a problem missing scenes, it's because of some other reason.
Welp, what is so "satisfying" about this? :s
WOW! This scene is amazing! Nice work!
What you said is true for now, but who knows what we might find up there when we go back to do more exploring. Then later, the planet Mars will be our next big challenge. These are exciting times we live in! :)
casualalgodoouser -- Don't worry about rjoseph. He sometimes acts like he's an Admin here on Algobox but I can assure you that he's not. He means well, though.

Suggestion: Disable the Algodoo clouds because they are distracting and it makes no sense to have clouds with an indoor scene.

Aside from that, the scene looks good and I will play around with it later. I am one of those hobbyists that you mentioned who used BASIC back during the 1980's when I got my first IBM PC computer running DOS-3.11!
Ummmm... Where's the dentist? All I see are three large brown pillars that crumble down when I run the scene.
Because I felt that it was not appropriate for the topic being discussed.
Another interesting mechanism! And nice work on the scene.

Just wondering: Can this mechanism be modified so that the blue lift arm would raise and lower with a linear motion (like a scissor lift or elevator)? I can think of many applications in which a linear motion would be desirable.
