If the person changes direction on the stairs more than once, the stairs get into a condition where a step is at its max height and its adjacent step is at its min height which makes the distance between the two steps too far for the person to walk up the stairs.
Except for that, your ball-point pen clicker mechanism works perfectly.
Hey, my friend..... It's been about three years since you've uploaded your last scene. Is there a chance you might decide to create and upload a few more in the near future? Your scenes are amazing too!
Messiah -- I understand your concern, and I will tell you what I tell everyone who complains about their scenes being copied and uploaded by someone else. You claim that Algodooper copied your scene and posted it, but unfortunately I have no way of knowing that you didn't copy the scene from someone else. Scenes get copied and uploaded here on Algobox nearly every day. A few years ago when I became the Admin here, I would attempt to track down who the original authors of copied scenes were, but after devoting way too much of my precious time trying to determine who the original authors were, I no longer did that. It's a tedious and futile attempt. So, now I simply ask people to not copy other's scenes without permission. If someone makes a habit of copying scenes, they will get themselves a bad reputation with the Algobox community, and no one wants that!
Messiah -- You made some good points, and I will take them into consideration. Just to let you know, I contacted Algodooper through his Email and I'm waiting for his response. If he cannot convince me that he did not copy your scene (and he needs to say more than simply "I did not copy it") then I will delete it and give him a warning about copying other people's scenes. So, if you can't find this scene in the next day or two, you will know how it turned out!
This is a problem that has plagued Algobox for as long as I can remember, and as you can imagine, it's a very frustrating job for us Admins to police it. But I believe in the power of Algodoo and Algobox as tools to help spark young people's interest in Physics and computer simulation. I also believe that it's a ton of fun, and that's what keeps me here. This job as Admin is totally voluntary. I don't make any money doing this. I just happen to enjoy it more than I get frustrated.
Trash_bag9 -- No, I'm sure it's not any kind of threat. Some other people have made scenes that destroy the Empire State Building and some have made scenes that destroy many other well-known landmarks around the world. Some people like to destroy things and other people prefer to construct things. Algodoo can be used for demonstrating either of those and many other physical actions.
No, togtmrg, you are not the only one who discovered the glitch. It has been reported by HUNDREDS of people over the past thirteen years. It's nothing new.
Keep looking and I'm sure you will find many more glitches that people have already reported.
Why don't you make more interesting scenes like the one you made about the wi-fi and the battery instead of trying to find glitches? People like to play scenes that are educational and/or fun.
