yeah, i did this as an evolution of my old forklift mechanism, the one that is red and grey that kinda looked bad
but now that i think about it, that set did have a similar mechanism
but a 7/10 on assumption? [/skeptical]
you have that old 8421 set? if so, i am jealous
oh alright, somebody else did a 7 then, I AM SOOOOOOO INCREDIBLY JEALOUS OF THAT SETTT
i dont think i will be getting any new legos this year, but if i do i would want things actually older than that.
muchmuchmuch better
the only _1_ thing that is not quite right is the yellow light when you do lights it is really just best to do it from the whole case, and being that this is an audi (and a concept) you would have white lights
i know this is unrelated, but what are some common race car sponsors, not liveries, but just individual small sponsors?
you will see what i need them for sooner or later
or if anybody wants a sponsorship sticker on my project, just pm me in the forums
there are a few things about this car that do suggest you didnt have a full understanding of the shape and components of the car.
look more closely at pictures
and i did find the picture you traced, so i know i am not mistaking
take a look at the actual structure behind the front wheel, it isnt just shadings, it is instead a structure of essentially boxes. I beleive you could have recreated it a little better
However, this is a very beautiful car and you did model it quite well, down to some bolts. Visually and basic performance wise, a very good setup. Now just for final revisions
keep up the good work sanderwezep 10/10 if you make a revision or two
ps sorry i have been working so slowely, i havent had time for phun because i have had to learn 4 programs at once (sketchup, autocad, labview, and ti basic)
well since you asked......
*the very flat black part you made, at the bottom behind the front wheel is actually blue like the body
*you missed one of the 2 front fins
*the top fin in the back could be shown off better, and the 'cut' behind it you forgot
*the back brake calipur is on the wrong side, and both calipurs are too small
*part of the roll cage and the little vents in the top right of the windows apear to be in front, you could fix those to look more like they are behind, perhaps with shading
*where is the side mirror??? lol
*might as well just add the antenna too
NOTE::::: i am not insulting or being negative, the creator clearly asked what could be improved, dont go ragging on me
anyways, those are all the areas to possibly improve. if you fixed all those.... 200/10
I'm not sure you understand kilinich, phun is a great artistic outlet because of its easy manipulation of shapes. Which is exactly why some people much prefer polygons.
to each his own
ps. fun stuff:) but i agree with gent, movement wouldnt hurt
the hilarious part, going back almost a year to this seen is that comment about the volvo and ford thing, i now know enough to afflictively say there is a partnership with ford and volvo. lol
*cough cough*
you are right under ground, i am proud.
This scene though, is above the rest, it is simply awesome in its shading and such.
if i didnt download i never would have known it wasnt a picture (like UG said, flawless)
also, the suspensions and how it drives are spot on as well
BUT there is always room for improvement, such as implementing the airbrakes of the huarya
still, 10/10 +1 for only 250 objects or so (very efficient)
so thats 11/10 ... off the charts
1(large gear) it is easier to use gearsets
2(squished) it would be unrealistic for something to simly squish in too
3(hinges) i do hate this as well, but it can be avoided as mentioned and just tuning your setup
4(fixates) just use breakable hinges
5(background) A) it would lag B) it would have to tile unrealistically anyways
