kilinich doesnt understand the value in awesomeness it seems

now, i didnt download it (for the sake of my computer) but of course it is awesome

the only thing i cant see is how you intend to implement it, will it be moving or just a skin or what?
yeah, i did this as an evolution of my old forklift mechanism, the one that is red and grey that kinda looked bad

but now that i think about it, that set did have a similar mechanism
but a 7/10 on assumption? [/skeptical]
you have that old 8421 set? if so, i am jealous

oh alright, somebody else did a 7 then, I AM SOOOOOOO INCREDIBLY JEALOUS OF THAT SETTT
i dont think i will be getting any new legos this year, but if i do i would want things actually older than that.
muchmuchmuch better
the only _1_ thing that is not quite right is the yellow light:/ when you do lights it is really just best to do it from the whole case, and being that this is an audi (and a concept) you would have white lights
i know this is unrelated, but what are some common race car sponsors, not liveries, but just individual small sponsors?
you will see what i need them for sooner or later

or if anybody wants a sponsorship sticker on my project, just pm me in the forums:P

if you want a sticker with your name or your own logo or something i will put it on

spread the word, i can fit plenty of sponsors:)

are you suggesting the name sean is bad ;P i take offence to that xD
thanks for actually giving credit for the wheels:lol:
le mans prototype style one (road car to follow)

i drew up all plans for it including all the systems in my history class instead of working xD. So it is all my own design.
after the lm, road car, gt revival, cayman S, and something else more than likely hahahaha

do you want a sticker on the car?
haha, try to keep the sticker simple, not too many polygons. and make it so it can be seen if it is only black

and about you being busy for school, at the moment i am busy AT school xD
i please do it in all very dark grey and if you HAVE to you can add a little bit of lighter grey to it
the default lenght is actually a good control not usually included
i do like the self contained system, but i would suggest turning the systems with the pipe on the bottom, works better that way
@ phz2dmax--- you forgot to remove the wheel locks

@willywonka--- yeah i realized what i did wrong long ago. lol (note my ltm1200 and terex truck, since they have scripted booms)
dont bother paying attention to kilinich, my opinion is leaning to him lacking the artistic capabilities for polygon based graphics

kilinich is, however, right about the acceleration and suspensions
there are a few things about this car that do suggest you didnt have a full understanding of the shape and components of the car.
look more closely at pictures
and i did find the picture you traced, so i know i am not mistaking

take a look at the actual structure behind the front wheel, it isnt just shadings, it is instead a structure of essentially boxes. I beleive you could have recreated it a little better

However, this is a very beautiful car and you did model it quite well, down to some bolts. Visually and basic performance wise, a very good setup. Now just for final revisions :)

keep up the good work sanderwezep 10/10 if you make a revision or two

ps sorry i have been working so slowely, i havent had time for phun because i have had to learn 4 programs at once (sketchup, autocad, labview, and ti basic)

well since you asked......
*the very flat black part you made, at the bottom behind the front wheel is actually blue like the body
*you missed one of the 2 front fins
*the top fin in the back could be shown off better, and the 'cut' behind it you forgot
*the back brake calipur is on the wrong side, and both calipurs are too small
*part of the roll cage and the little vents in the top right of the windows apear to be in front, you could fix those to look more like they are behind, perhaps with shading
*where is the side mirror??? lol
*might as well just add the antenna too

NOTE::::: i am not insulting or being negative, the creator clearly asked what could be improved, dont go ragging on me

anyways, those are all the areas to possibly improve. if you fixed all those.... 200/10
lol at the mirror though
but if you made a v2 i dont think anybody would notice the differences xD

also i'd like to second what underground said
lol two dtm cars in one day
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0644tw098

there, everything is all pointed out here and labelled

and yes roman, the best use no textures at all;)
two 1968 charger r/t's in one day
AND two dtm cars in one day

TWIN DAYYYYYYYY!

btw i love the 68, in fact we own one:D
hey this is a great thing to do

now i too am right up with underground, i am quite good with skins

However, it would be nice to have another good car skinner around here with us.
Lets see what you can do. --- pick a car and try:)
I'm not sure you understand kilinich, phun is a great artistic outlet because of its easy manipulation of shapes. Which is exactly why some people much prefer polygons.

to each his own

ps. fun stuff:) but i agree with gent, movement wouldnt hurt
algodoo hinges are stonger, that is your problem laserfishy, just like the springs always being stronger in algodoo.
the hilarious part, going back almost a year to this seen is that comment about the volvo and ford thing, i now know enough to afflictively say there is a partnership with ford and volvo. lol
uhh... why do the brake calipurs spin with the wheel? lol
*cough cough*
you are right under ground, i am proud.
This scene though, is above the rest, it is simply awesome in its shading and such.
if i didnt download i never would have known it wasnt a picture :P (like UG said, flawless)
also, the suspensions and how it drives are spot on as well

BUT there is always room for improvement, such as implementing the airbrakes of the huarya

still, 10/10 +1 for only 250 objects or so (very efficient)
so thats 11/10 ... off the charts
1(large gear) it is easier to use gearsets
2(squished) it would be unrealistic for something to simly squish in too
3(hinges) i do hate this as well, but it can be avoided as mentioned and just tuning your setup

4(fixates) just use breakable hinges
5(background) A) it would lag B) it would have to tile unrealistically anyways
suspension isnt the best, and it could use a tad more hight, after all, the real one has active suspension to raise it a few inches

but still good overall... minus wheels
9/10

btw you can still get phun: http://www.algodoo.com/wiki/Download
