Now I'm sure that you understand why I decided not to continue to attempt to make this type of scene!
Yes, there are at least two different FOR loop functions that users have employed in their scenes over the years. 1. Algodoo (or more accurately, Thyme) has an intrinsic FOR loop function which works just fine for repeating a block of code N times, where N is limited to some relatively small value (I don't recall what that value is). 2. User kilinich developed a much better FOR loop which he called "Xfor", and that's the one that many of us experienced Thyme coders typically use. Below is the script which needs to be entered into the Console only once when a scene is loading and spawning objects. Here is the actual code for it:

scene.my.xFor := (n1, n2, code) =>
{n2 > n1 ? {
m := (n1 + n2) / 2;
scene.my.xFor(n1, m, code);
scene.my.xFor(m + 1, n2, code)
} : {code(n1)}
}

I don't recall the details of how to use it, but there are plenty of posts in the Thyme Scripting portion of the Algodoo forum that discuss using it in great detail. The beauty of this function is the fact that the number of iterations is only limited by the amount of memory your computer has! (in other words, it is limited by a VERY big number!)
Why are so many Algodoo users obsessed with toilets? :s
What is so satisfying about 4000 colored circles? :s Am I missing something?

JP - By the way, you didn't place a period at the end of your last sentence. :rolleyes:

Aren't we getting rather picky now? I'm making a point that I don't believe Saturn misspelled the word EQUATION. It is obviously a typo. We all doo it wen wee tipe to fast and owr fingers are mooving faster then owr brane cen keap upp! :lol:

Whenever you ask for help with a project, be specific about the kind of help you need and also explain what you are trying to accomplish. Just saying "Help to make" doesn't explain any details. Also, no one is going to make an entire scene for you. You are going to have to learn how to design and build an Algodoo scene with maybe a little help from others.
Oh, okay.
Thanks!
I have two questions:
1. In a standard internal combustion engine, the spark plug fires at just the right time near TDC of the compression stroke. So, how does the spring engine get its timing?
2. Why use a spring for the connecting rod? Wouldn't it be better to use a solid bar?

Thanks!
The baby?

So, how does 9 + 10 = 2021? :s

Nice effect. Good job! :tup:
Why do you believe this is not normal? It looks perfectly normal to me.
Wow, this is amazing! Many of your scenes are very complex mechanically, and they all function very well. Good job! :tup:

My only suggestion is to turn off those annoying Algodoo clouds! Clouds are fine for outdoor nature scenes, but for technical or mechanical scenes, they are a distraction.
This scene is just like a nightmare I had a few nights ago. Weird! :o
Holy cow! I didn't know that. Thanks for telling me! :rolleyes:

Why did you upload a car that looks like it was made by a 3-year old kid and then say you are sorry for doing that? Wouldn't it have been much better to take the time to make a really awesome car that you won't need to apologize for? If you can do much better than this, and if you aren't lazy, I suggest that you delete this scene with a car that looks like poop, and take some time to make something you will be proud of. If you cannot delete this scene, just let me know and I will delete it for you. I am the Algodoo Admin, and so I can do stuff like that.
It's a cool idea, but honestly, not very useful. The Thyme "Edit Menu" will tell you anything you need to know about a texture. Also, the device is really clunky to use. It's difficult to hold in the right position, and if you happen to let go of it, it falls straight down to minus infinity! :lol:

If you wanted to improve this, a better way would be to keep the display unit stationary, and make the antenna detachable. Maybe keep it connected with a spring or rope. That way it will not get lost if dropped!

Welcome to Algobox!
I was wondering why user PalliumIndustries didn't answer my question, and now I see that this was the last scene he published back in July 2021 and there was no activity from him since then. So, apparently he is no longer active here on Algobox.
I think he's trying to get around the rules with a voting scene without actually calling it a "voting" scene. :tdown: He's risking getting banned if he keeps this up.
You have a good attitude! :tup:
Is there more to this game than just a rag doll? How to play it? What controls are there? What must a player do to win? :s
You must have a super fast computer (based on what I see in the YT video). Unfortunately, this game barely runs at all on my computer. The lag is extreme, and my computer is not that old. :(
Sad. :(
I didn't know what amke means and so I Googled it. I see that it's an Anime convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It will be opening next month in February in case anyone is interested in going.
Thanks!
I didn't get scared, more like surprised. Anyhow, you did a great job on this scene just like many of your other scenes. Very impressive work! :tup:
failed com ment.,_;., enyone ken coppy dis commint becouse its.s bugggy end vbroken.
What is that weird scribbly word you wrote after "Remember, the longer you stay "? I can't even copy and paste it into my comment! :o
Does "... the harder it gets" look like normal text to you? When I copy and paste it here in comments, this is what it looks like: t̸̳̺͆ẖ̸̚e̶͙͕̿ ̶̛̮̈́h̷͚͊͐͜ȧ̵̤̭ȓ̶̲̎͜d̶͈͉̄e̲̝͛r̸-
̘͂͛ ̵̭͂̂i̵̮̗̓̎t̴̓̄ͅ ̴̮̏̾g̴̼͌̕ȅ̶͚͍͝t̴̫̾̃s̷͉̳͊̕.

The only thing I can think of is you are using a a text font that I do not have loaded on my computer. So, if it looks like normal text to you, and it looks like foreign weird characters to me, then that must be what's happening. I've been here on Algobox since 2012 and I've never seen this before!

Okay, that explains it! So, if it looks strange to everyone, then why use it in your scene description?
